In the recent decades substantial development has taken place in improving precise and reliable placement and bonding of orthodontic brackets. The master class will start with a lecture providing an overview of this development, and discussing the precision and accuracy of various bonding methods and use of auxiliary tools. Bracket bonding in special situations of missing and deviating teeth will be considered. Particular emphasis will be placed on the development and application of indirect bonding technique as a reliable and accurate method of precision bonding. After the lecture the master class will provide training of the practical application of a simple, accurate and reliable indirect bonding technique by going through all stages and working with the materials used in this method.
